This case was so bizarre for Nassau that whatever the details were, the newspapers must have decided not to report on it. All we know was that the accused made an appearance in court to answer the shocking charges.

On Wednesday July 1, 1942 at the opening summer session of the Bahamas Supreme Court, Thomas Sawyer, pleaded not guilty to having relations with a hog.
